It is made of thin sheets of finely chased gold inlaid with lapis lazuli, and black and white glass paste. The mask was found in the king's tomb in Tanis (modern-day San el-Hagar) in Lower Egypt and was placed directly upon his mummy. This priceless artifact is now in the "Museum of Egyptian Antiquities ", Cairo, Egypt.
